




The Rules


Truck Pull

-
All drivers MUST possess a valid driver’s license;
-
All tires must be D.O.T. approved and inflated with air;
-
All pick ups must be plated and insured;
-
The frame of the truck must not be larger than the frame of a 1 ton truck;
-
It is strictly prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
-
Only the driver is permitted inside his vehicle in all categories;
-
A vehicle may not be registered more than one time per category;
-
There must be a minimum of 3 racers per class to hold a race;
-
All trucks will be weighed with drivers aboard and will only be weighed once;
-
It is prohibited to leave the premises with your vehicle after getting weighed (special permission may be obtained from the officials);
-
All competitors may add weight to their truck in order to attain maximum weight of their category
-
No extra added weight are allowed ahead of the truck box;
-
Weights must be fastened to the truck box. Any weights falling off during the pull could result in disqualification;
-
All winners will be re-weighed and verified. Anyone found to be overweight will be disqualified;
-
It is prohibited to have a supercharger, turbo, water injection or andcompressed gas in Class 1;
-
It is prohibited to have water injection, compressed gas, nitrous oxide, propane or twin turbo in Class 2;
-
Failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned rules may result in disqualification.

NOTE: Competitors are asked to bring their own weight if needed.
Classes
-
Class 1: ½ and ¾ tone gas engines / maximum weight of 3100 Kg
-
Class 2: Diesel engines / maximum weight of 3800Kg
-
Class 3: Modified diesel or gas engines / no weight limits


Transport Pull




Class A Racers
-
All drivers MUST possess a valid driver’s license;
-
The truck tractor must have:(A) One in-line diesel engine with a maximum of eight cylinders, two turbos and a 19 liter capacity;(B)No more than one injector per cylinder;
-
All truck tractors must be plated, insured and inspected. The following items will be verified during inspection:(A)Number of turbos;(B) No blowers allowed; (C) Three axles must touch the ground at all time; (D) No additional injection product is allowed (propane, nitro, etc.); (E) Physical protection mandatory from the engine to the first differential. For example, a conveyor strap, a metal strap or rings should be used to secure the drive shaft to the frame of the truck to protect the spectators and the fuel tanks;(F) Injection system inspection;(G) Visual fuel tank inspection;(H) Visual air tank inspection;(I) Inspection of all engine hoses;(J) Gearshift lever inspection;

Once racer is called to race and a mechanical defect is detected, the racer is given 15 minutes to repair said defect;
-
It is strictly prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs;
-
A vehicle may not be registered more than one time per category;
-
Unsportsmanlike conduct, disgraceful words to the officials and the volunteers, as well as failure to comply with any of the rules mentioned above will result in the disqualification of the competitor.

Transport Pull
Class B Racers
-
All drivers MUST possess a valid driver’s license;
-
The truck tractor must have: (A) One diesel engine with a maximum of eight cylinders and two turbos with a 19 liter capacity (B) No more than one injector cylinder; (C) Depending on the engine, the turbos will be measured from the impellor and may not exceed the length allowed;
-
All truck tractors must be plated, insured and inspected. The following items will be verified during inspection: (A) Turbos will be measured with a vernier; (B) End of impellor should not exceed 81 mm; (C) No parts should be added to the air intakes; (D) Truck tractors with an ACERT engine (twin turbo) can race in class B or C, but the engine must be equipped with a MXS, BXS or NXS twin turbo. All other engines must be equipped with a NT turbo only; (E) Three axles must touch the ground at all times; (F) No additional injection product is allowed (propane, nitro, etc.). Injection system should be stock; (G) Physical protection mandatory from the engine to the first differential. For example, a conveyor strap, a metal strap or rings should be used to secure the drive shaft to the frame of the truck to protect the spectators and the fuel tanks;

Cylinder and liter capacity restrictions: Class B and C truck engines must have only one injector per cylinder, six in-line cylinders and a maximum 16 liter capacity. Or truck tractor equipped with a rod V8 engine must have a prescribed turbo. No other engine types will be accepted in class A, B nor C, except if the President of the event allows vehicles with any other type of engine to run at the opening of the event, and if such class is to be included in the program;

Unsportsmanlike conduct, disgraceful words to the officials and the volunteers, as well as failure to comply with any of the rules mentioned above will result in the disqualification of the competitor.

Class C Racers
Transport Pull

All drivers MUST possess a valid driver’s license;
-
The truck tractor must be completely stock and standard without exception;
-
The truck tractor must have: (A) One diesel engine with a maximum of eight cylinders and two turbos;
-
All truck tractors must be plated, insured and inspected. The following items will be verified during inspection: (A) Three axles must touch the ground at all times; (B) Protection under the truck and for the fuel tanks is recommended, but not mandatory (it would be safer in case of any mechanical defect);
-
Once racer is called to race and a mechanical defect is detected, the racer is given 15 minutes to repair said defect;
-
It is strictly prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs;
-
A vehicle may not be registered more than one time per category;
-
Smoke will not be tolerated;
-
Cylinder and liter capacity restrictions: Class B and C truck engines must have only one injector per cylinder, six in-line cylinders and a maximum 16 liter capacity. Or truck tractor equipped with a rod V8 engine must have a prescribed turbo. No other engine types will be accepted in class A, B nor C, except if the President of the event allows vehicles with any other type of engine to run at the opening of the event, and if such class is to be included in the program;
